Farmers & Makers

We believe farmers markets are for everyone. That applies to customers as well as vendors. We prioritize low barriers to entry and a community, rather than competitive, atmosphere. Those ideals: inclusiveness, low barriers to entry, and a collaborative atmosphere have made us an incubator for success. We aim to attract and grow the best farmers, chefs and bakers in the region. Our goal is to provide a space where vendors can focus on building their business, and contributing to a strong marketplace to support it.

Spotlight Vendors

Artisans
Each week we feature a rotating collection of local artists selling items like pottery, jewelry, photography, fine art and prints, wood and leather craft, specialty food items and more.

Non profits

We also hold space for one non profit weekly. If your group is looking to get your message out, recruit volunteers or new members, let us know. We prioritize groups specializing in services to the entire community, and those who can offer assistance on site.  We allow fundraising but not the sale of goods.*

Examples are the public library, harm reduction support, suicide awareness and mental health support services, community festivals, mutual aid, senior services, animal shelters.

*An exception is made for scout troops — especially those selling girl scout cookies!

Performers

We love to promote local musicians by offering scheduled, “busker-style,” opportunities. Musicians of all skill levels are encouraged to secure a time to perform during the market for tips. Musicians are encouraged to put out a tip jar and are welcome to promote upcoming events, pass out contact information and sell merch like t-shirts and recordings. Electricity is not available and amplification is not allowed.

We also showcase other forms of local talent: from dance troupes to science fair displays. Promote a local play with costumed actors to sell tickets. If you have an event or a class happening, talk with us, we’d love to help come up with promotional and performance ideas.
