Shopping at The Corner

Two ways to shop, in person or online

An Open-air Experience

Our market is open from 8-11 every Saturday morning on Greensboro’s most colorful Corner, at the intersection of S. Elam and Walker. We are an open air, rain or shine marketplace in the lot of Sticks and Stones Clay Oven Pizza at 2200 Walker Avenue. Free street parking surrounds the market and there’s plenty of space in the lot of Suds and Duds laundromat as well. We are a dog friendly market and even have an onsite vendor, dogsinapile, of locally made dog treats and other supplies.

A Virtual Marketplace

In addition to our in-person market, we also offer an online option with a contactless drive through. Shop online from vendors across our market on Monday-Thursday, all in one place, with one simple checkout. On Saturday morning, from 8-11, just pull through the Corner Pick Up drive through located at the Lindley Park Filling Station (directly across from the market). Our staff will have your order waiting and ready to go!

Explore the Corner

While you’re at the market, we encourage you to get to know the surrounding, locally owned businesses. Bestway Grocery is a full service grocer with a legendary beer wall and wine selection. Emma Keys restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sticks and Stones, Fishbones and Lindley Park Filling Station are all open for lunch and dinner (to go, outdoor and indoor seating available at all restaurants, following local COVID protocol). The Corner is also the home of Common Grounds coffee shop, Reto’s Catering and Lindley Park Vintage.

Paying for Purchases

Our vendors accept credit or debit payments as well as cash, at each booth. If you prefer to use cash there is an ATM at Bestway.

We also welcome customers using SNAP benefits, and we double those benefits. Just stop by the market information booth before you make a purchase and we’ll give you twice the amount we run from your card in tokens that are good for all SNAP eligible purchases throughout the market. So if you’d like to spend $30 at the market, we’ll run your card for $15 and give you $30 worth of tokens. SNAP customers can double up to $50 each week, for a total of $100 in tokens. Tokens never expire and are also good at our sister market, The People’s Market , in the Glenwood neighborhood on Thursday evenings (April-October).

COVID Protocol

Our market follows all guidelines set by the state and the national Farmers Market Coalition. We have a mandatory mask policy and provide masks and sanitizer at our entrances. We ask that customers maintain social distancing should you have to wait in line. You are welcome to bring your own bags or use vendor-provided bags for purchases. There is no eating or drinking allowed onsite.
